Week #7
Writing this one a bit later than I usually do. It's monday night, cozied up inside my bed and blanket because my feet get too cold. SF has started to become cold as each day passes. Coming from the warm climate of India, it gets quite tough in the morning.
This week was stressful as I procrastinated on all my assignments and ended up doing them towards the end with however little time I had left. After this week's classes, I did try time-boxing my whole day, and it went well, but I find that it becomes pretty inaccurate and hard to follow more than two days in the future. Ideally, this is an activity that I do every morning to create a two-day plan and review if any changes need to be made for the day.
I attended an official Figma event, and it was packed with people. I met a bunch of classmates, ranted a little bit with them, and ended the night with a drone show by the Figma team. It was really fun and, honestly, inspiring to see so many designers in one place. Oh, and as much as I hate doing bureaucratic work, I got my SSN approved and will be able to take on-campus jobs now.
