Week #12

A week of rest and rejuvenation.

I took a break from the busy schedule of grad school. I finally got a much-needed haircut and made time to visit the Golden Gate Bridge. The walk across was refreshing, and the small hike at the end of the bridge to the viewpoint was the cherry on top. The hike made us super hungry, so we stopped at Ghirardelli Square to eat Mexican food and munch on sundaes.

Grad school is going as usual, with an insane amount of work expected in one week from four different subjects/projects. Usually, we work in groups, which means you have to deal with people. This, combined with the three campus jobs (12 hours per week total), leaves little to no time for rest. Taking all the toughest and most work-intensive instructors didn't help either. Going into next semester, I am trying to intentionally reduce my coursework load to focus more on things outside of school. That includes both having fun and actively applying for positions.
