Week #11
I feel like I am getting the hang of this.
My previous weekly update was basically a rant, mostly because I wanted to do everything everywhere all at once, which is impossible. What you need to do is prioritize and let go of things that are lower in importance at the moment.
This week was my first Halloween, and it was eventful. Even despite the hectic schedule, I found time to enjoy a little. I dressed up as Jim from The Office and managed to win a whopping amount of $9 playing poker. It's kinda insane how addictive gambling is.
This Sunday was also an alumni meetup, and I got to meet a few seniors and gain good insights on navigating the design industry in SF. Seeing these people and talking to them always inspires me and fuels my motivation to go through this struggle.
In other news, I have selected my courses for next spring, and hopefully, the lessons I have learned from the first semester will help me better choose my priorities.
