SF Week #1
Today is Monday. I hope to publish a blog post every week describing this new journey I have undertaken. I am doing a 1-year master's course in Interaction Design at California College of the Arts in San Francisco. With this blog, I hope to have a memory of how this time went, what I enjoyed, and what I didn't.
Week 1 was pretty chill, in the sense that I was surrounded by nice and warm people who made sure I didn't have to worry about anything at all. My brother and sister-in-law flew in from the East Coast, and we met their friend in Mountain View, which is where we spent the next couple of nights. I met Rusty, the most calm and zen dog I have ever seen. I had lots of food and just spent some quality time with all of them.
This made me realize that even tho I was sleeping on the couch, it was 10x more comfortable than when I moved into my own place with my own bed in SF a few days later. It felt cold and distant, unfamiliar in an eerie sense. Hopefully, I settle in well and feel at home soon.
Until next week.
